About the event
Rising roots rock band AJ & The Woods return with their most personal and expansive project to date, "For Her", with a FREE concert June 6th at Lake Affect Studios in Cleveland. The eight-track album blends folk, Americana, blues, and indie rock into a cohesive body of work that reflects both hardship and resilience.
Written during deeply transformative periods in the lives of singer and lyricist Alison Tomin and guitarist Joshua Alan Collins, “For Her” explores themes of anguish, love, and hope. The album moves fluidly between stripped-down Appalachian folk moments and driving indie-rock arrangements, all while staying grounded in the band’s signature roots-rock sound.
“For Her” officially drops June 5th followed by the main event: a FREE album release concert June 6th at Lake Affect Studios. Opening that night for AJ & The Woods are Cleveland staples Lea Marra & The River Boys and Maura Rogers & The Bellows.
