About AJ & The Woods
AJ & The Woods are Cleveland Ohio's premier roots rock band blending Appalachian folk, Americana, and blues with modern rock energy. Formed in 2015 by vocalist Alison Tomin and guitarist Joshua Alan Collins, the project has grown into a dynamic five-piece, adding depth through bass, drums, and fiddle. Their sound moves fluidly between stripped-back folk moments and driving rock arrangements. AJ & The Woods writes and performs original music while also incorporating cover songs ranging from classic rock to modern country and pop favorites. They have extensive experience performing for a wide range of audiences including shows at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, House of Blues, South Buffalo Irish Festival, and Put-In-Bay, OH.
AJ & The Woods has played numerous private events including weddings, corporate gatherings, and family celebrations. They are able to perform as a duo, trio, or full band (bass & drums) and can modify their performance to suit any need, whether it is a stripped down acoustic set or a full electric show.
