AJ & The Woods are a Cleveland, Ohio–based roots rock band blending Appalachian folk, Americana, and blues with modern rock energy. Formed in 2015 after a chance meeting between vocalist Alison Tomin and guitarist Joshua Alan Collins, the project has grown into a dynamic five-piece, adding depth through bass, drums, and fiddle. At the core of the band is a collaborative songwriting process grounded in real-life experiences. Tomin’s powerful, expressive vocals pair with Collins’ textured guitar work to create songs that feel both intimate and expansive.
